We grow the fish
Our own hatchery means healthier stock and species matched to your goals, not whatever a supplier had on the truck.
We're not a call center with a contractor list. We raise our own fish in Piedmont, Alabama, and we manage the water ourselves, so the people who stock your pond are the people who answer the phone.
Davis Fish Farms has led southern pond management since 1989. What started on a family-owned fish farm has grown into full-service stocking and management for private ponds, lakes, golf courses, and hunting and fishing clubs across the Southeast.
Raising and managing fish for decades teaches you things a catalog can't. We draw on that hands-on experience every time we set a stocking ratio, read an electrofishing survey, or diagnose a vegetation problem, because the difference between an okay pond and a trophy fishery is in the details.

Because we produce our fish on our own farm, we control quality from the start, and we can match what we stock to what your pond actually needs. That's harder to do when fish pass through three middlemen first.
It also means one accountable team oversees every step of your project, from the first water test to a balanced, active pond you'll want to fish for years.

Electrofishing and water testing tell us what's really happening below the surface, so the plan is based on facts.
Pond management isn't one-and-done. We oversee every aspect to keep your fishery healthy and active over time.
